Design Engineer by Day. Rockstar by Night. Product Leader at All Times.
Alberto González

Music has never been a hobby.

It's always been another way I solve problems.

Whether I'm designing AI-powered products, leading creative organizations, or standing onstage in front of hundreds of people, I'm doing the same thing — creating experiences that connect with people.

I've spent more than thirty years chasing great ideas.

Sometimes those ideas become digital products.

Sometimes they become brands.

Sometimes they're just loud enough to shake the walls.

Either way...

I'm still building.

Why Riff Junky Exists

Some people know me as a product design leader.

Others know me as a guitarist. Few know me as both.

The truth is...

They're the same person.

Riff Junky is where creativity doesn't need permission. It's where I experiment, write, perform, design, build brands, create videos, produce content, and remind myself why I fell in love with creating things in the first place.

Because creativity shouldn't stop when the workday ends.

People often ask me how I balance leading product teams, designing AI-powered digital experiences, running a creative agency, and playing in nationally touring rock bands. The truth is—I don't separate them. They're all the same muscle.

During the day I'm solving product problems. I'm designing products, building AI agents, architecting user experiences, mentoring teams, and helping companies create products people actually want to use.

Whether I'm leading product strategy, building startups, or designing AI-powered experiences, my job has always been the same: bring clarity to complexity, inspire people, and build things that matter.

What I've Built

Over the years I've...

  • Led two nationally touring tribute productions.
  • Built music brands from the ground up.
  • Produced live events and promotional campaigns.
  • Designed merchandise, websites, and digital experiences.
  • Directed photography, video, and social content.
  • Played hundreds of live shows.
  • Managed artists, bookings, and marketing.
  • Led teams both onstage and off.

Leadership doesn't change because the venue does.

The Connection

People often ask how I balance technology and music.

I don't.

They're connected.

Design teaches me structure.

Music teaches me emotion.

Product strategy teaches me systems.

Performing teaches me confidence.

Artificial intelligence accelerates all of it.

Everything feeds everything else.

That's why I believe the future belongs to creative people who refuse to stay inside one lane.

My Creative Playground

I've always been driven to create. If I'm not designing digital products, I'm building brands, writing copy, creating concert posters, producing reels, launching marketing campaigns, or designing merchandise. My mind is always chasing the next idea.
Riff Junky is where all of those creative passions come together. Some of this work was created for my own bands and projects, while others were built for clients, but every piece reflects the same goal: create something that captures attention, tells a story, and leaves a lasting impression. It's my creative playground—and a place where ideas come to life.

Live Work — Video & Audio Production

Whether it's producing an EPK, directing a music video, creating cinematic "Live Viz" content for concert backdrops, or building promotional pieces for social media, I love getting my hands dirty in every part of the process. I shoot, direct, edit, animate, color grade, mix audio, and bring the final story to life. Creative production has become another extension of my design process—and honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way.

Every Poster Tells a Story

Every poster begins with a blank canvas and an idea worth chasing. From sold-out tribute shows to fictional brands and late-night creative experiments, each piece blends music, branding, storytelling, and design into something meant to grab attention and leave a lasting impression. Every project follows the same philosophy: create boldly, own the moment, and rise above the noise.

Reels & Social Advertising

Being an effective creative today means wearing a lot of hats. Capturing footage, directing shoots, editing video, creating motion graphics, writing copy, building campaigns, automating workflows, and launching ads have all become part of the job. I genuinely enjoy every step of the process because each skill makes the next one stronger. Thanks for watching—and yes... this is just another day in the workflow.

Final Philosophy

I've never believed people have to choose between being analytical and creative. The best product leaders tell stories. The best designers perform. The best musicians obsess over experience. They're all solving the same problem: how do you make people feel something?

Every rehearsal teaches collaboration. Every product launch teaches resilience. Every show teaches empathy. Every failure becomes the foundation for something better.

That's why I don't think of myself as someone who builds products. I build experiences. Sometimes they're digital. Sometimes they're physical. Sometimes they're loud enough to shake the walls. The mission never changes: imagine, create, transcend.

Knowledge speaks, but wisdom listens.

Keep learning.

Keep creating.

Keep pushing forward.

Technology will evolve.

The music will keep playing.

But the pursuit remains the same...
